Integrations

Updated: May 8, 2026

Open the workspace switcher in the sidebar, choose Manage workspace, then select Integrations to connect third-party services to the current workspace.

Integrations are workspace-level. Workspace members can view this page, connect providers, toggle connected providers on or off, and reconnect providers when permissions need to be refreshed.

Supported Providers

Perspective currently lists these integration providers:

  • Slack - used for Slack invitations and Slack automation delivery.
  • HubSpot - used by automation workflows that write to HubSpot.
  • Gmail - used by automation workflows that send email through a connected Gmail account.

The provider list is driven by the workspace integration registry, so the visible cards match what the app can connect.

Connect an Integration

Click Connect on a provider card. Perspective opens the provider authorization flow in a popup. If the browser blocks popups, allow popups for Perspective and try again.

After a successful connection, the card shows:

  • Connected status
  • Connected account email when available
  • Who connected it
  • Connection time
  • A Reconnect action
  • An enabled or disabled switch

Enable, Disable, and Reconnect

Use the switch on a connected card to enable or disable that integration for the workspace. Disabling an integration stops Perspective from using it, but it is not the same as revoking every external authorization.

Use Reconnect when:

  • The connected account changed.
  • The provider token expired.
  • Perspective shows missing permissions.
  • A provider added required scopes after you originally connected it.

For Slack and Gmail, Perspective checks required scopes. If scopes are missing, the card shows which permissions need to be granted and offers a reconnect action.

How Integrations Are Used

Integrations are the provider connections used by product workflows such as:

  • Sending Slack interview invitations from the Invite Participants flow.
  • Delivering automation notifications or records from Automations.
  • Letting MCP integration tools discover connected providers when configuring automations.

Integrations vs Connected Apps

Settings has two different external-access pages:

  • Integrations are workspace-level provider connections Perspective can use for automations and notifications.
  • Connected Apps are OAuth apps you personally authorized to access your Perspective account. Revoke those from Connected Apps.
