Import and Export Conversations

Updated: August 7, 2026

Import and Export move conversations in and out of Perspective.

  • Import Conversations - bring transcripts or recordings from meetings held in other apps into an agent, and analyze them alongside the ones your agents ran.
  • Export Conversations - download your conversations as a ZIP for reporting, collaboration, governance, or analysis in the tools you already use.

Where to Find Them

Open Agents in the sidebar, select an agent, then open its Conversations tab. Import and Export sit just above the conversation list.

What Both Have in Common

Both features are in Beta. Each dialog has a Share feedback link, and you can share feedback here any time something does not work the way you expect.

Large imports and exports run in the background, so you can keep working while your data is prepared. Perspective emails you when it is ready. Closing the dialog does not stop the run, and reopening it shows progress instead of starting a second one.

  • Conversation Results - review transcripts, summaries, form data, and participant metadata.
  • Analysis Sessions - ask questions across imported and native conversations together.
  • Automations - deliver conversation data automatically as it arrives, instead of exporting on demand.
  • Webhooks - stream conversation data to your own systems.
  • Data Retention and Privacy - access controls and privacy considerations around workspace data.
